1. Terms

By purchasing the software at https://startkit.ai, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the software. The materials contained in this website and accompanying GitHub repository are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Any earlier license agreement granted to you for the use of earlier versions of the software is replaced by this license.

2. Use License

StartKit.AI is sold under a Perpetual Fallback License.

This license is granted as a single purchase, granting users unrestricted and perpetual access to the software.

By choosing the StartKit.AI Software License, you’re getting a simple and adaptable deal that frees you from any ongoing charges or subscription costs. Keep in mind, though, that we hold the power to end this license at any time, no strings attached. This lets us keep a handle on how the software is spread and used.

When you go with our license, you can make the most of our software, but you also need to accept that we can call it quits on the license whenever we need to, helping us stay flexible and ready for anything unexpected.

You may use the StartKit.AI software for the purpose of building software that utilize AI for yourself and your clients, and you are allowed to distribute this.

However, you must make sure that the StartKit.AI software is not distributed in a way that allows it to be reused by any other application other than yours, and you must inform your customers that they are not permitted to use the StartKit.AI software outside of your application.

You may not redistribute or re-sell the StartKit.AI source code.

3. Updates

When you purchase a StartKit.AI Software License, you’re also locking in one year of free updates. This means for a full 12 months after your license starts, you’ll get every new feature, improvement, and fix without paying extra.

Once your initial year is up, you can keep using the version of the software you have for as long as you like. Just remember, after those 12 months, any new updates we roll out won’t be included unless you opt into a further arrangement.

4. Disclaimer

The StartKit.AI software is provided on an ‘as is’ basis. Squarecat makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Keep in mind that even though you can use Squarecat software to help start and run other companies, we’re not on the hook for how well those companies do. It’s all on you to make sure your business follows the rules and laws. Squarecat won’t be held responsible for any money lost or problems that come up from using our software to help with your business.

5. Refunds

Due to the nature of the product license, once purchased StartKit.AI can not be returned, exchanged, or refunded. However, we will try our best to resolve any problem you might have if you contact us via email.

6. Limitations

Squarecat is not liable for any loss, whether it’s data, profits, or an interruption in your business, that might occur from using or not being able to use the materials on the StartKit.AI website. This stands even if you’ve informed a representative of Squarecat about the potential for such losses.

Note that the legal protections we’re talking about here may not apply to you if the laws in your area don’t allow for such limitations on liability.

7. Accuracy of materials

The materials appearing on the StartKit.AI website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Squarecat does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete or current. Squarecat may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. However Squarecat does not make any commitment to update the materials.

Specifically, for demos providing access to large language model (LLM) responses, Squarecat does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the results. These demos are for illustrative purposes only and should be used with discretion and an understanding that the generated responses may not always be correct or appropriate for every context.

8. Modifications

Squarecat may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By purchasing the software or using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
